The criteria for my next assignment was handed out today. We were given eight topics and were told to pick one to write 2000 words about. One of the questions gave a list of directors and asked us to analyse three of their films, the recurring themes and aesthetic styles… One of the directors was Miyazaki. Someone is giving me permission to write 2000 words about Miyazaki. I got this.
One of my Art History lecturers sounds like Colin Firth. I approve.
I forget what those little plastic things they leave in your arms are called but they are the worst and never again. I look like a pincushion, damn my tiny veins. At least it was all negative. To sleep.
Mentally preparing myself for being brunette again. This could end badly.

I always forget how much I love older Simpsons episodes until I watch them again. The new ones hurt my heart, I really wish they’d just wrap it up. The episode where Lisa turns vegetarian is on, “Pllllleassseee Lisa, I thought you loooooooooved meeee.”

I have an awful tendency to speak in a manner uncharacteristically proper after viewing period dramas.
